(NYC Trend) — Halloween is not dead this year—unless you’re into that sort of thing. The Headless Horseman, a haunted house experience in Ulster Park, NY is swapping out their usual hayride with a spooky drive-thru. The attraction has followed all the essential COVID-19 guidelines to protect their guests and staff, while also being extremely creative in the process.
“Dare to Ride The Horseman’s Trail,” will frighten and horrify its riders, all without them having to leave their cars. The event will be held outdoors in keeping with social-distancing guidelines. All employees will have on masks, but that won’t keep them from scaring visitors. After months of recreating a real-life Escape the Room, people are looking for safe and interactive entertainment, and this trail ride is exactly that.
The venue also offers alternative scare-speriences such as its haunted corn maze, “Evil Reaping: Dark Harvest” and two walkthrough haunted houses, “The Feeding” and “Two Raven Manor.” Though the names may give it away, these adventures are not kid-friendly.
Tickets go on sale in October, with a children’s welcome day available October 10th and October 24th. Get your tickets and get out, or it will haunt you foreverrr!
